Ahh, you need to put a pipe symbol (|) between the parameters. Ie.
DJ A|${….

For the general syntax:
<> brackets denote a parameter.
[] brackets enclose an optional parameter.
The brackets itself are never written/used.
Multiple parameters are separated by a pipe symbol (|).
There is only a single space between the command and the subsequent parameter(s). Else, no extra space should be used before or after.
