Problem agter Update V4.5.2.6
Re: Problem agter Update V4.5.2.6
As can more or less be seen from the Scheduler, the base playlists are always running in the background – namely Day, Night, and also 80-90-00, etc. These are the base playlists that run depending on the day of the week. On top of these, different shows are running as Overlays. The list is always structured so that there is a base program running in the background, and an overlay show on top of it.radio42 wrote: 21 Dec 2025 15:58 I assume DAY is your 'underlying/main' playlist (which is not set to be played overlayed - guess you even have defined this entry in your program accordingly?).
What you describe is, that "DAY" should play ALL the time in the background. So that the DAY program/playlist must be running as an opened playlist all the time. At least in your initial post screenshot I can not see the DAY playlist open. There is only the '80-90-00 Disco...' playlist open - so what happened to the 'DAY' or other 'underlying/main' playlist?
If that was closed, and the 'overlayed' playlist finishes - there is nothing to be resumed. As that is what an 'overlayed' playlist is doing - it just resumes any 'underlying/main' playlist, but doesn't start a new playlist.
In your 'overlayed' playlists you have even do not define to 'Pause' the 'underlying/main' program/playlist? So the two should play in parallel (ie. the main and the overlayed one)?
So maybe you need to send me your entire program scheduler calendar file and the related .pls script files to take a deeper look.
The last issue you mention is by design. If the players do not all fit into your screen resolution, the one playing is scrolled into view - which might cause the outer first resp. third player to be not fully visible. To resolve this issue either stack the players or make more space available for the players.
Since the program has so many different settings, located in many different places, it is entirely possible that some setting is configured incorrectly and that is where the problem originates. Unfortunately, I do not have anyone familiar with the system who could help review the configuration.
I am not sure how to provide the calendar file in any better way than as screenshots. Maybe you can advise me on how to do this.

Just send me the program scheduler .calendar file itself - you’ll find the location in the general settings, section Scripts/Scheduler.
The location of the related .pfs files are also shown directly in the script editor.
Please send me these files to take a look at.
Plus, can you answer my other questions:
Why do you need the main program? Why the overlayed programs?
Why don’t you use the Overlay Scheduler instead?
Or, if the other programs also play, you should delete the main program and play only the other programs instead. Ie. no need to play them overlayed.
Or why do you play two programs in parallel? Why the overlayed entries? What is the reason for such setup.
Please explain me your requirements, so that I can offer a solution to your issue.
