Thanks for the test file.
As assumed, the file contains two TAG blocks: an older ID3v1 tag structure and the new ID3v2 tag block.

ProppFrexx reads them all and combines them, if some info can not be found in one, it uses the other for maximum info retrieval.
The issue with old ID3v1 is, that it is a fixed structure. Nowadays it is not used anymore - ProppFrexx doesn't even write it anymore if it is not existing. I.e. there is no 'empty' Genre. It can only be set to 'Unknown'.

As said; Make a right-click in the Tag Editor at the bottom right info region and in the contect-menu select 'Extended' and there you can remove the old ID3v1 tag block.

You can even click on the 'Read' button at the bottom left to re-read the TAGs from the file. So you don't even have to rescan a media library all the time. This Re-Read is the same of what is also happening when you rescan a media lib.

This option is enabled in all Editions! Then you right-click in the wrong area:

Running two instances is not simple, but possible. Take a look to the ‚-globalconfig‘ and ‚-config‘ command-line option. You need to start two ProppFrexx instances with different command-line options to not mix the configuration, which needs to be different for those two stations/instances.

And you need a separate license for each instance.
