Advertising launch delay
Hello Bernd,
When I create or update a campaign with "PF Advertising & News", I select the newly created or modified campaign and click on Sync ONAIR, then accept the Reload Library request. Despite this, when it's time for broadcast, either the new campaign is missing, or if it’s an updated campaign, the changes are not reflected on air. Most of the time, I have to wait until the next day. Whether it’s a new audio file, a scheduling change, or simply a new campaign that needs to start quickly — isn’t there a way for this to happen instantly?
Thank you for your help.
Claude.

Re: Advertising launch delay
I don’t your setup. But it sounds, that you are updating the .calendar file as well as the configuration of the Advert Storage path from a 2nd PC. Or is it just the Advert & News app you are using?
You need to reload the entire advertising?
Eg. via the control-command OVERLAY_SCHEULET_RELOAD.
Or via this button: Or you can use the Reload button in the general settings, section Script/Scheduler - behind the Advert Storage Path.
Note, that the reload might take some time (depending on your Advert Library size). You can check, if the reload was successful in the Tools ribbon tab, Show Log Files:
I just made a quick test here and had no issue:
A) BEFORE the change: B) AFTER the change:Audio Tracks are updated, available, that the reload finishes before any Overlay is shown.
