Proppfrexx crash ffmpeg.exe (0XC0000142)
Proppfrexx crash ffmpeg.exe (0XC0000142)
yesterday and today unfortunately proppfrexx has crashed a few times. supposedly by windows we get this error code FFMPEG.EXE cannot start application correctly (0XC0000142). When this error occurs a player remains empty. anyone tips or advice.
Re: Proppfrexx crash ffmpeg.exe (0XC0000142)
As ProppFrexx doesn’t use FFMPEG.EXE the error is not caused by ProppFrexx!
The only place where you might use ffmeg.exe is as an external encoder somewhere manually? So remove it there from your setup. Are you elsewhere using a VST which might use it? Or you issue a control-command calling it?
If yes, remove it to fix the error.
Not sure why and where you use it.
But as said, ProppFrexx doesn’t use it, installs it nor calls it.
Try to figure out what you have recently changed/configured when it started.

Recently there was an update to W11. 2 days ago.
We use Rocket for streaming. As you may know we have previous problems with streaming via porppfrexx, cause you suspect Bernd by the provider.
We use stereotools in proppfrexx and loudmax in rocket

Re: Proppfrexx crash ffmpeg.exe (0XC0000142)
So may be it is caused by StereoTool or Rocket - I can not say. Is there any more detailed entry available in the Error.log file of ProppFrexx? As said ProppFrexx doesn’t use ffmpeg.exe. So it must be caused by any external tool or audio device.
