Re: Scheduling a recurring show
Thank you for your suggestion, I believe I've got it this time!
And thanks also for reminding about the CTRL key duplication feature, it's simply fantastic (I watched your "advertising" video where you mentioned it, but I must have missed that information).
I have another question, still on the same topic:
I have the idea to insert a special autopromo slot of a maximum duration of 120 or 180 seconds before the TOTH in order to arrive more precisely at the top of the hour? My idea is that PFOA will calculate how much time is left before the top of the hour and add the appropriate number of self-promotions accordingly.
Do you think this is feasible or not at all?

As I am currently on holiday, I am not 100% sure about the overlay (but I guess I added a similar feature - but cannot recall that out of my head).
For programs see the ‚TryEnsureExactLength‘ option, as well as the ‚BridgeTrack‘.
Note, that you can not only specify a single track, but also a .pfp playlist with many alternative tracks, from which one is picked randomly.

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
Sorry to bother you while you might still be on vacation. I have an issue affecting the program broadcast (PF is now in production) and that's why I'm reaching out to you.
Here's my problem, it concerns the Adverts Management section: I've created clients (which are actually autopromos), slots, and campaigns. And finally, I created overlays specifically for the slots.
For example, I created a campaign using the "Dynamic" function, then defined filters, playouts per day, per hour (for example: 4 playouts per day and 1 per hour), and initiated the generation by clicking "Add". The result is correct for me so I closed the "Dynamic Slot/Overlay Assignment" window and clicked "OK". Then I synchronized with "Sync ONAIR". Problem: the system is not at all playing the planned schedule. For example, for a campaign of 4 spots per day only on Thursday, PF plays ten spots even on Tuesday, whereas in the planned schedule in "Dynamic Slot/Overlay Assignment", everything is correct. Do you have any idea?

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
Unfortunately, I can not really follow by just reading your 5 pe.
E.g. you can not create a campaign using a dynamic function - this doesn't exist?! So maybe there is a general misunderstanding?
You can however dynamically assign a Campaign to an Overlay/Slot.
So you first need to create your Slot. A slot is a logical name to which campaigns can be assigned.
A slot defines what campaigns should be played - i.e. you assign campaigns to such slots.
In the Overlays Scheduler you now define overlays. An overlay can 'play' a slot. I.e. all assigned campaigns will be played in that overlay. On this example the Slot with the name "A" is assigned to an Overlay with the name "Test".
You can now assign Campaigns directly to a Slot. In such case, the campaign is always played in that slot.
The dynamic assignment function is special in such way, that you can assign a campaign to specific instances of a slot. I.e. you assign a campaign to an instance of a slot for a specific overlay at a specific date. I.e. the campaign will only be played on that specific overlay instance/date and time. The slot must still be assigned to that overlay!
The assignment is dynamic in the way, that you can specify how you like to distribute the assignment to the overlay instances. In the example above 460 assignments are define, 5 per day in the tie range from 3.7.2024 til 3.10.2024.
Make sure to press the 'Add' button to actually perform the assignment.
Once done, you will also see those dynamic assignments in the overall tree view: I just tested it here again - and all is working. So I assume, that something is not assigned properly in your case.

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
I think I misspoke, but I believe that's exactly what I did.
Example:
I created this slot:

I created a campaign that I assigned to this slot with filters to play this campaign only on Thursdays within a time range:

I created an overlay on which I selected the same slot.

And here is the result (here using the test overlay function, but this is what was played) in reality.

As you can see, PF has scheduled and played this message today, Tuesday!

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
So what is effectively wrong?
The campaign "Alan Roberts ce soir" is being played - just as you assigned it!
Note, that only one track from one campaign is being picked of course.

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
I don't want this campaign to be played on Tuesday because it's scheduled for Thursday! So why is PF also playing it on Tuesday? And it's the same for all the campaigns I've scheduled. Bug or mistake on my part?

Re: Scheduling a recurring show
Another strange thing that I don't understand: he precisely selected the campaign that is supposed to run on Thursday instead of choosing the one for Tuesday, but on top of that, PF played both!Note, that only one track from one campaign is being picked of course.
Re: Scheduling a recurring show
Ah, now I got you.
Have you maybe also selected and assigned the campaign direct to that slot?
Please show how your campaign tree looks like - maybe there are entries under the 'Assigned Slots' node (e.g. you not only have dynamic assignments)?
