general question example midi daw

Hi hello, I've been working with ProppFrexx for years with satisfaction, lately a bit more voice tracking due to time constraints. Now I saw that there are people who use a, actually DAW midi controller in combination with ProppFrexx. I do see requests for help here and there, but I can't find much on the entire internet where people actually show something with videos or other things. Can you usually really control the faders (midi signals) of ProppFrexx with faders (midi signals) on an X Touch, for example, and possibly multiple buttons for previewing, etc.? Are there people, experience? I want to buy one, specifically an X Touch. Thanks in advance
