Support for multi channel output

Hello! I'm a developer and we're using proppfrexx for real-time installation to show information about what is currently playing. I was wondering if Proppfrexx supports playing back and outputting correctly multi-channel WAV files (eg: 5.1 or 7.1). If so what would be the way to set it up?
I did a test playing back a 7.1 WAV file and heard all 7 channels on my stereo speakers.

Yes. ProppFrexx uses stereo output mixer setups, as radio broadcasting and streaming always uses a stereo output, ProppFrexx always downmixes any multi-channel input to a stereo output.

Thanks for clarifying. Down-mixing to stereo makes perfect sense for a broadcast/streaming workflow. For my real-time installation, though, I’m driving a multi-channel audio interface and really need discrete 5.1/7.1 output rather than a stereo mix. Is there any way to bypass ProppFrexx’s stereo mixer and send the individual channels straight through? If so, what settings or routing would I need to adjust?
Thanks again for your help!

No. Currently not.
I can put this onto the wishlist for a future release.
