Can't add new script to Script Libraries? Via "New script", after OK nothing is saved?
Modifying an existing script is possible.

Anyone any idea?

Check the location of your new script. Maybe that folder is write protected or you don’t have write access to it?!

Else, I can not reproduce that error and your issue.
