Hi Bernd
I've enabled the new multi-band layout in my find window and have 'media library' selected as one of the bands. However, it only seems to show folder-based libraries? I have numerous playlist libraries that define genres, ratings, shows and more so was hoping that a reference to the playlist library would also be shown.

Is that possible?

I can unfortunately not reproduce your issue. So how are you testing things? Ad please also post a screenshot of your issue...

Attached a screenshot where you can see, that the search result returns entries from different media libraries.
One is actually from a folder base lib and the second from a playlist based media lib.

May error. I went and checked my search results again after seeing your reply. I had enabled the search on my main library only . Once I enabled search on all the other libraries, the results updated accordingly.
