Load track to standby players

Hello

We are setting up a new radio station and because we use an analogue mixer, we are using a SubZero Minipad to execute midi commands such as play, stop, rewind and unload songs. We have also been setting this up to make our voice tracking easier with recording, pre-listen button etcetera.

Is it possible to load a highlighted track into the standby players with these commands? There is a command for STANDBY_LOADTRACK but it won't load any highlighted track into the players. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I am afraid, that that there is no command to load a highlighted track. This can only be done directly via the user interface.
However, do you mid explaining from where you want to load a highlighted track? From a playlist, the find window, ...?

Okay, maybe this would be a feature to add in the future? I'm trying to load it directly from the playlist. No worries, it's not a problem to use right click and add to standby player but it would be handy feature to have.

When we are broadcasting live, we have to use the standby players. If we use the A, B, C players we can not voice track between the songs since the music will also be recorded into the input.

Another question. Is it possible to change and save the output on the Standby players to 3 separate soundcards so that we can send the music back into the mixer and control the volume of each player with 3 different faders?

Sure, when you right-click on the Standby-Player name (e.g. the -1-), you can select the 'Output Device'...ie. the output mixer channel of each standby player individually.
