Sure, first you can try to stop and restart the MIDI control itself (in the general settings, section GPIO).
But if that doesn’t help, I guess a reboot of the PC is needed.
Have you changed anything in your setup? Eg. Added a USB or MIDI hub? Cable issue…?
Or even changed anything in the MIDI mapping, settings?

Unfortunately not. If the MidiView is working and shows the MIDI Messages - but ProppFrexx (in the monitor) doesn’t show anything - this seems, like there is some configuration issue with the MIDI port.
And as it was working good before, there must be some change in your setup/system… but I also don’t have any idea, what it might be.
Have you maybe changed the ‚Auto Pair…‘ option? This should typically be disabled.

Good to here! So that sounds, like the MIDI controller somehow got stuck…

Probably a pure coincident.

Korg nanoKONTROL2 is a compact-sized multi-function mixing control surface connected with your monitor. A single MIDI Out shA single MIDI Out should not be used to connect many synthesisers in a long daisy chain of MIDI cables. While MIDI recording and playback may be possible with this configuration, SysEx transfers are far more demanding on hardware and software. If necessary, utilize a MIDI Thru box so that your connections spread out from one point rather than in a lengthy line. Make sure you have enough MIDI Ins and Outs to maintain a maximum chain length of two or possibly three synths.
