Hi,
On a song, which means "Mark dead"? This means that the number will no longer be played?
Thanks
Filip

Tracks marked as dead are tracks, who's path is invalid, ie. it's location cannot be found anymore.
So yes, those tracks can obviously not be played.

You cannot actively mark a track as dead, this is something which happens within a playlist automatically.
I assume, that you want to exclude certain tracks from being played at a certain time?
If so, please open your media library (Open -> Media Libraries -> <name of your lib>) which now opens as a playlist file; or locate your tracks in question via the 'Find Window'. Now press ALT+3 for the related track to open the TAG Editor and than navigate to the 'Other' tab. Here you can specify a scripting restriction, e.g. you can specify in the 'Date Range' in which the track should not be played.
Another option is to organize your tracks within multiple different media libraries (e.g. a hot-, medium- and low-rotation) and than move the tracks around these media libs - or in the worst case remove them completely from these media libs.
