I made a copy of the ProppFrexx/4.0 folder and still had the file. Now it is running again. What sounds unbelievable to me is that it is just a file that collects entries, and if it is empty then it should be useless? I will test this.

after the last update v4.2.1.1, if I want to move a song to position 1 or 2 in the playlist, ProppFrexx crashes (players are activated), or does the problem only occur with me? Screen freezes. Thanks !

ProppFrexx tries to load the update 4.0.4.23 again and again, and after the update at startup it shows the version 4.0.4.22.
